TWO MORE DAYS!

It's almost here, I can't believe it, but I'm ready. Gary and I have worked really well together to make this party the best ever. Tomorrow night Monty, Julie, Bobby, Darcel and Victoria arrive. Friday we'll also have Brian, Heather, Kayla, and Josh. So this is the calm before the storm. I'm so excited..... I made dvd's of Anita's birtday messages for each family member. The dvd turned out fabulous with 71 messages. Okay, lots to do, I bet the next time you hear from me it will be after the event.
Love, Lynnell

6 MORE WEEKS!

Gary and I went to "Round Up Feed and Barn" on Saturday to order 12 bails of Hay or Straw to be delivered to the park on the Sat. morning of the party,  I think it will add to the look of the "Old Fashioned Picnic" theme I'm going for.
We also paid the balance on the Park Rental.  We went to pay Big Rich for the food, however they were not in Paris at the skyjumping park on Sunday, due to rain.
Gary's been working hard on his garage and getting all his cars looking good for the male company we'll be having.
Anita's friends from bowling and work have been great responding to the "life on Record, CD".   I have to thank Elva for all her work, getting them to call in.
I'm back to making the Apple Butter, I have 24 made, 24 to go.  Beverly and Barbara are going to fly in to San Diego on the Thursday prior tothe party, Anita will be going there as well.  Joan and Milt will bring them to the party on Saturday.
My plan is to have them drop Anita off at our house first so that Gary and Monty can drive her up in the Red '34,
I've been working hard on downloading songs from the 40's to my mp3 player.  and have decided to rent from VIP Events, a speaker system to play the songs I've chosen througout the day.
I think we'll get a "Betty Boop" cake for the party, still not sure on that on.
As you can see things are moving along.

2 MONTHS AWAY!

Just 2 more months................ I'm so glad I began so long ago, it's never going to become overwhelming, I'll never wish I had more time.
Finally people are startng to leave messages on lifeonrecord.com for Anitas special CD Gift.
Last week-end Gary and I were to get our favorite bar-tender (Stephnie) to agree to work the party.
We reservd Red Eye Bar B Que to do the catering. We decided to have pulled pork sandwiches, chicken, baked bean, potatoe salad and cole slaw. We love their food.
We've purchased the Red Wine, (Unruley Red), at Bev-Mo.
I asked Renee if she would make her special Chex mix that I know Anita loves, and have a bowl of it on each table.
Bobby, his wife and daughter are arriving on the Friday prior and so are Monty and Julie. Things are rolling along....

JANUARY - LET 2010 BEGIN!

Anita, Hailey, Renee, Brent, Kevin, Blu, Lynnell & Gary
As wonderful as wonderful as the holiday's were, it's always good to get back to a little normalsy is normalsy a word? And if it is I'm sure I misspelled it.
Anita was here for Christmas and she wanted details regarding her party and me being me couldn't help myself and shared to her some of the small details.  I didn't want her to
think she needed to be shopping for some fancy dress when the party is at a park.  And I wanted her to know space wasn't limited if there are more people she would like to invite.
All and all I think she was happy with the plans.  I will have a little set-back this month, as I will be having a pace-maker/diffibulator implanted within the next few weeks.  I shouldn't be held up for too long.  I am going to really have to get the guests to send me their addresses so I can mail the invitations next month and I need her friends to
start leaving messages on the CD (Life on Record) were having made for her.

December is here! Down to 4 months.....

Thanksgiving has come and gone.  While in Phonix visiting Anita I was able to retrieve email address book.  I emailed most of her contacts asking them to please send Anita a voicemail message on lifeonrecord.com.  I'm sure once the New Year arrives people will be leaving messages.  Amy Diaz has left a very sweet message.  Thanks Amy.

November Centerpieces

My mom needed 4 centerpieces for a dinner party she just had and this was what I came up with.
